Meet the Founder

Todd Lagendyk is a machinist, team leader, and systems-driven problem solver who founded Mission: Manufacturing with one goal in mind: to bring clarity, culture, and cutting-edge thinking to shops across the country.

From a young age, Todd was drawn to machining and manufacturing — not just for the craft, but for the challenge. He’s never been content with the status quo, and that drive to push beyond “good enough” has shaped his entire career.

After years of working his way through every level of the shop floor, Todd launched Mission: Manufacturing to help ensure that American manufacturing becomes the global benchmark — not just globally competitive. His passion for excellence and obsession with what’s possible are at the core of every system and solution we deliver.
